Her head was pounding. She could hear her heart beat in her ears. She felt groggy. Out of place. Her nose scrunched at the earthy smell that assaulted her. The gravel under her skin alarmed her as her eyes snapped open. Her vision was disoriented and foggy before everything around her became painfully and piercingly clear. It was then she noticed the pale blonde hair that obscured her view.
